The most potent time for training success is within the first 12 - 24 hours after the initial material has been learned! If the new material can be reinforced and used in context during the window of that golden first day - the chances for long-term success are significantly higher. Mr. Ebbinghaus learned this more than 100 years ago. So why do we wait until the end of the marking period to really put students to the test?
